The Beast Within

The Beast Within will feature quick and exciting action with a variety of maps using two game modes. Both game modes are up to 4vs1.

Normal mode is objective based. Players have to collect three objectives before finding the escape. Winning human players are still alive on mission complete. If the time expires or all humans are killed the beast the beast wins. At the start of the game human players know where the objectives are and the beast does not. Different beast have different strengths to help them defeat the humans.

Infection mode is based on kills. Once a human is killed he re spawns as a beast making it that much harder for the remaining humans. Points are scored for each kill. The first beast has to get creative to get that precious first kill.

 

Current progress. The project is just getting to a point where it can be played. Players can connect to a server and can launch the game. However there is not much of a level to go to. Currently all players are humans and can fight each other but there is no beast in game yet. I already have models and animations for the characters but need to put it together and make the game modes and maps.
